Breeding foals

Posted by admin | Wednesday, February 23, 2011

1. Put your rare horses in the stable, then a stallion, then put a %34 or higher % horse in it, and harvest.

2. Don't take your horses out of the stable

3. Put another horse in with %34 of higher and harvest again (This will make your stable ready again)
4. Don't take your horses that are inside out, just put another %34 horse in it.

Ok, I believe I understand your written instructions....however; your video...SUCKS!!!! MUSIC SUCKS!!!

  2. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 6:25 AM

Also, you do not get the amount of coins they tell you! they tell me I get 7669 coins per horse harvested, and actually give me 762,,,,,BIG DIFFERENCE!

    no understand

  6. Moonshadow5 February 23, 2011 at 6:29 AM

    I agree with shambo

  7. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 6:30 AM

It says dont take horse out so first time u empty barn start like they say does this mean need to empty stable every night or morning whenever u harvest also video looks like they r taking foals and put them in barn. a bit confusing

  8. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 6:31 AM

this is all well and good...it involves removing a horse to make room if you have reached the max of 40, which adds to the work. When will an upgrade to the stable be available????

  9. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 6:32 AM

They only thing that bthers me is that its hard enough to find minatures and rare stallions, you put them in the stable and you lose them. In you video the person lost 4-5 horses. That may be too much lose vs the gain.

  10. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 6:32 AM

How Do u get a stallion? or is it the woundering stallion?

  11. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 6:35 AM

the clip its way to fast

  12. PMDM February 23, 2011 at 6:35 AM

How do I get a Stallion? I've been looking for it for a long time, I have some stallions foals, but when they grow up they became a black horse.

  13. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 6:48 AM

why is it your foals don't grow into their kind of horse? for example why does clydsdale foal become a black horse

  14. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 7:05 AM

the rare foals become black foals and horses because the person that produced those foals had to pay FV cash for the mama horse, an its not fair to them to give away babies that will mature into mama horses they had to pay for in order to get the babies. also FV would lose a lot of cash if they did. would cause a lot of anger if you got for free what someone else had to pay for

  15. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 7:06 AM

    NURSERY
Regardless of how many rare foals you have in your nursery YOU WILL NOT GET A RARE HORSE OUT OF IT.

Per Zynga…this is to keep it fair for those that purchase the rare horses. In essence they will not let those who purchase the horses get another without buying one…forces others who want to use farm cash to buy.

I had all CandyCorn Foals in Nursery…….they re-produce as Light Blue Pony.

  16. Tina Ptach February 23, 2011 at 7:15 AM

What irritates me is that you do not get to keep your own rare foals. After all, I paid for the mares to produce these foals so I should get to keep the foals!!!!

Also, I have had rare foals grow up into rare horses. Maybe that is because I already own that type of horse?

  17. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 7:16 AM

Why don't farmville put a stallion in the market for people to buy so that people who bought the rare horses can have something to start with to breed. Now that make sense

  18. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 7:18 AM

you DON'T lose your stallions or mini stallions, and you can empty some of the horses from the barn and continue to breed the rest of your horse as long as you DON'T remove your stallion. after you have bred all the horse you have to remove ALL the horses from the barn and let them mature to at least 34%. nursery barn is a whole different matter, if you open it up and place your cursor on the babies in there, it will tell you what they will turn into. example: cream drafts babies will mature into cream draft horses, brown & grey will mature to be what they are, blue pony also, EVERYTHING else will mature into black horses. hope this helps

  19. Unknown February 23, 2011 at 7:27 AM

I UNDERSTAND THE BREEDING PART WHAT I DON'T GET IS WHEN ITS DONE I CAN'T SHARE ANY OF THE GOODS THAT THEY GIVE FOR EXAMPLE THE FARMHANDS THEY ASK YOU TO SHARE WHEN I HIT THE SHARE BUTTON NOTHING HAPPENS I AM LOOKING FOR THAT PUBLISH BUTTON CAN ANYONE ON HERE HELP ME

  20. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 9:23 AM

WHAT IF ALL YOU HAVE IS RARE FOALS? HOW DO YOU GET THE FOALS TO GROW INTO HORSES SO YOU CAN BREED THEM?ALL THE HORSES I HAVE ARE PLAIN ONES..

  21. Steve February 23, 2011 at 9:25 AM

I have been doing this for months.

  22. She7enne February 23, 2011 at 9:28 AM

lol yeah ... interesting, as if some of us didn't know .... I miss a stallion for all this breeding also, but according to Zynga, we had enough time to be selfish save gifts for under the Xmas to get a Snow Stallion... Well that is still possible, with saving and sharing Holiday Gifts, you're able to get at least 1 Snow Stallion...

I expected to have such a surprise in the Valentine Box, but all we got was an infertile pink swan, a sheep, a cow and some other for us farmers useless gifts. An other way was to waste your real money in that mystery dart game in which you can lose all your saved and bought farm cash. This whole circus which some call a game, turns out to be a money pit, where nothing is for free, if you want to do some decent farming and be able to share instead of snag, in which case you are afraid to lose your neighbors pretty soon.

  23. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 9:29 AM

what about the rare ponies that wander into my farm? i didnt buy them, just shared. I have so many rare ponies, that i have found or picked up,i do not think that that many people will be angry if the people actually got the rare horse from a pony, that they had to buy. I am more angry about the work that i put into it to be told that unless i dont pay with farm cash, everything i do doesnt matter, or i am not entitled to special things. I work hard on my farm, i dont buy the cash, so just for the hard work alone, we should be rewarded. As far as the horses go, it almose doesnt make it worth anything to even keep the barns.

  24. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 9:31 AM

All this talk of fairness by Zynga is a load of hoo-ha. I paid to get a mystery box last year and recieved a snowmobile and a fancy carriage as prizes. This year, you could purchase the snowmobile and win the fancy carriage with just 10 frigging valentines. Fairness my arse. They're in it to make as much money as possible and when something isn't desireable, they'll just release it the next year as a common prize. Don't buy any farmville cash and just wait a year.

ON YOUR WEEKLY PODCAST THE MUSIC IS A WAY TO LOUD .PLEASE TURN IT DOWN OR OFF SO WE CAN HEAR WHAT THE PERSON IS SAYING THANK YOU

  26. Tina Ptach February 23, 2011 at 9:33 AM

for those wondering how to get a stallion, I won my black stallion in the balloon pop game a while ago. It was well worth spending the farm cash and I actually won on the first arrow toss. You may want to try playing the games.

  27. Beadgal1 February 23, 2011 at 9:35 AM

It sucks that we have no way to get one of the foals we breed! Also, my game has been messing up when I try to share. The other day, I bred a pink gypsy foal and not only could I NOT keep it myself, I wasn't able to share it either! The adorable little critter just went to waste!

  28. Kelly February 23, 2011 at 9:35 AM

I received much clearer instructions from a neighbor, here is how we do it:
When your horses are all 34% ready(or more):
1)put the stallion into the stable, the stable becomes ready to harvest.
2)add a specialty horse(up to 5 with the stallion), the stable becomes ready to harvest each time.
3)take your regular horse and add one at a time to the stable(with the stallion and specialty horses), the stable will become ready to harvest each time.
4)After you harvest with each regular horse, take that one out and add another one and harvest.
5)Keep going until you have no more horses to add
Alot of it is just trial and error...

well my game feed has been gone for 2 weeks now so when it comes time for me to publish anything i cant and i cant get anything either i'v contacted farmville and was told i would be fixed in 48 hours but still not fixed 1 week later does anyone else know how to fix this

You are not right....you forgot all the mini foals..if you put into the nursery a miniature foal or a cream mini foal or a mini stallion foal, they will mature into a cream mini horse..happy farming all :))

  32. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 9:49 AM

I have just started harvesting my horses,I even bought some rare ones.I won the Snow stalion in Valetine box and also won the pink stalion in the baloon pop game. Then just yesterday there was a rumor that if we were cought harvesting too many horses and foals,Zinga would either cut our game off for 4 days or delete us altogether..now that I have found these directions I can saftly go on harvesting my horses and Foals...

  33. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 9:56 AM

Looks like I need to invest in buying more FV cash. I really want to get a stallion.

  34. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 10:04 AM

It works I just tried it and I got three new foals

  35. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 10:11 AM

For those of you not able to publish your items all you have to do is hit your tab button on your keyboard and keep hitting it till you reach the publish button. That should solve your publishing problems.

  36. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 10:15 AM

this does work and u don't need stallion unless u want foals. No stallion u can get XP, Farmhand, Arborist. btw, re post complaining about amount of coins, it is level Dependant, the higher ur lvl the more coins and only if u have a stallion

  37. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 10:19 AM

you want to try and slow this down? There are normal people on this farmville who cannot speed read or speed see!!!!!!!!!! Why don't you show the whole process of horse breeding from start to finish in both written and visual context?

  38. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 10:20 AM

I already knew this. But if you tell EVERYBODY then F/V is going to fix this and no one will be able to do it anymore. Big Dummies!

  39. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 10:43 AM

Take all ur horses out but the stallion. ( I got a stallion from the mystery game, but u i also got a SNOW STALLION which works, from trading in the winter gifts). all horses start at zero % when taken out. I place the rare horses back in one at a time when they are at 34% or higher. I get coins, or xps or farmhands or arborist, or a foal, I never know which. After all rare horses are in stable one at a time then I put in the regualr brown horses one at a time til barn is full at 40.. then I take out all regular horses but leave in rare ones, then continue placing the browns ones back in that have at at 34 % or more and repeat process when barn is full. after all horses have been harvested, i take all out but one stallion and start process over next day. :)

  40. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 10:50 AM

This is very simple, if you have the snow stallion, put in 1st, then the blue, black & gray, one at a time, harvesting after each one, then put your brown horses in one at a time & harvest, if you have brown horses left over, click on barn only remove the brown horses, enough to put the rest in one at a time. You get coins, pts., etc. Share your animals, check your neighbors profles for baby foals, put them in your nursery barn, when they grow up, then you have more horses to put in horse stable, when you are done breeding, take all horses out til the next day when they reach 34% or greater, repeat the above!

  41. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 2:03 PM

how do you get a stallion, why arnt things in coins instead of cash

  42. ok_gal63 February 23, 2011 at 2:10 PM

How are you suppose to get the horses when you cant seem to keep your cash, I lose mine everytime I turn around. I get told I got it in error. Why cant things be in coins and not cash so everyone can have a chance

  43. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 2:10 PM

This does work but for the last week when it tells me I found 10,700 coins they do not rack up anymore - get the XPs etc but but not the coins - is this just me?

  44. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 2:11 PM

I understand this all and it would be great if I had my own stallion. I have to wait for the wandering one and you only have the one chance. The last few times I have gotten foals, so that has improved but I feel it's useless to say your a breeder if you don't have the stallion. BRING IT BACK ZYNGA; FOR COINS! THANK YOU :)

  45. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 2:15 PM

How are you suppose to do this when you dont have enough cash cause they take it all saying they made a mistake. Farmville is starting to suck big time

  46. Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 3:26 PM

First, if you get that LONG publish page and cannot find the publish button use your tab key and you may need to tab 3-5 times or so and it will take you to the publish button.

    Yes I get the message yougot 10100 coins....NOT I get 504, 506 526 coins....mostly get coins from doing this.

  47. Anonymous February 24, 2011 at 6:21 AM

yes how do you get the stallion not the wondering stallion it also sucks that most for the foals all grow up to be the black horse if there going to grow up make them grow up into what they are supouse to be

  48. Anonymous February 24, 2011 at 6:46 AM

These are the absolute WORST instructions I have ever seen in my life! They make NO SENSE whatsoever! I have tons of horses I have purchased and I never get crap except the stupid grey foal. AND since I BOUGHT the rare horses I think I should be able to KEEP THE OFFSPRING!!! This game is RETARDED

  49. Anonymous February 24, 2011 at 9:06 AM

HOW DO WE BUY A F-ING STALLION???

  50. Anonymous February 24, 2011 at 9:08 AM

i make over a million in coins a day ,...and have been for some time - hope the expansion for the stable comes soon ... need room - :)

  51. Anonymous February 24, 2011 at 9:23 AM

The Snow Stallion works, if you got one from the Christmas tree.

  52. Rosa Owczar February 24, 2011 at 9:28 AM

    Problem:
Unable to put any Foals in the stables. Does not accept. Can only place Foals in nursery....how is this going to work?????

  53. Unknown February 24, 2011 at 9:40 AM

Put a stallion in your empty stable then start putting your horses in with it (34% or higher) after you put the first horse in wait a minuet for it to be ready to harvest then harvest the stable and then put in another horse and continue to do this until you are out of horses. Then empty the stable and wait until your horses are at 34% again and start over. I leave my stallion and 1 horse in my stable to harvest it right away the next time I do my stable. Hope this helped some of you. It's pretty simple once you do it just very time consuming.

  54. Unknown February 24, 2011 at 9:42 AM

Rosa Owczar you can only put adult horses in the stable. They produce the foals.

  55. Anonymous February 24, 2011 at 9:48 AM

Ok but how do I get a stallion? I have used thr feed thoutle but all I get are Turkeys and elephants.

  56. Unknown February 24, 2011 at 9:49 AM

This is my last post. Everyone seems very confused, glad I never had to watch the video to learn. You must buy a stallion and that is by chance finding one in the market, I got mine with the Christmas packages (500) every once in awhile they sell them in the market but very rarely. You don't lose any horses from the stable except for the foal that it produces, that goes to your wall for your neighbors. I don't know any other way to explain this so if any of you have any questions I will try to answer them for you, my e-mail is on this post. Good luck everyone.

  57. Anonymous February 24, 2011 at 9:57 AM

I do not get the amount of coins it says I should be getting per horse harvest. Why not. Needs correcting now.

  58. Anonymous February 24, 2011 at 8:38 PM

I won a Pink Stallion in the Mystery Game after I bought a game card. I have been getting 4-8 foals a night. I have received the New Years, Black Cherry, Fjord, Knight Steed etc. The thing I agree with some of the other posts is that we do not get the option to keep the foals. I wish there was an option to keep them.

  59. Anonymous February 25, 2011 at 12:56 AM

now the question is how in hell i get a stallion

  60. Anonymous February 25, 2011 at 1:23 AM

Ask neighbors to send a Winter Whimsy, if they have any gifts left to send from the Christmas tree... or save up 500 gifts and get the stallion yourself. You might get lucky and get a Snow Stallion from the Whimsy. Or wait until there is one available in the mystery game. If you don't want to spend the money on the game, get over it, you most likely will never get a stallion.

Also, it does not matter what order you put the horses in the stable, as long as there is a stallion in it, and as long as the last one you put in is 34% or higher. You do not need to leave all the horses in the stable either. When I get a foal, I take that adult out and put in a different kind, so I'm constantly posting different foals. And if you don't want to get "stupid brown or gray foals", don't use any in your stable. I use the cash horses and the grown up ones from the nursery. I do not have ANY brown or gray horses on my farm.

If your coins are not adding up when you don't get a foal... refresh. The coins will be there.

Stop whining about the nursery not growing them up into the good horses. Zynga would lose millions if they allowed that, as we breeders would stop purchasing horses, and we'd probably stop playing altogether. And Zynga won't put a stop to multiple horse breeding, because that too would make them lose millions. It's a rumor...don't believe it.

If you're making foals & not getting any from your neighbors, perhaps you need some new neighbors. Search FB for horse breeder pages and find neighbors there.

In case any of you doubt me, I'm a level 121 player, producing dozens of foals daily, also making around a million coins a day.
